BLUBoT (Not for Consoles)

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A CONSOLE REMOTE CONTROL APPLICATION. READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE DOWNLOADING.

This application is a part of a project for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Omaha Campus) working with the CEENBoT. The project consisted of taking a Bluetooth adapter, commonly used with Arduino, and integrating it with the CEENBoT through UART. This application mimics the remote control and allows the position of the joysticks and buttons to be transmitted through Bluetooth.

The firmware source is currently unavailable. For the time being this application will likely not work for anyone else unless reverse engineered for another robot or bluetooth module.

Background: The CEENBoT was created by students and later awarded a grant given to help enrich the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) enlightenment within K-12 schools and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Omaha Campus) Computer and Electronics Engineering department (CEEN) also has in the past provided these to their students as an entry way into methods of soldering, programming using the publicly available API and to allow the creativity in robotics to begin flowing at a very early stage of the college career. Esta aplicação é uma parte de um projeto para a Universidade de Nebraska-Lincoln (Omaha Campus) trabalhando com o CEENBoT. O projecto consistia em tomar um adaptador Bluetooth, comumente usado com Arduino, e integrá-la com o CEENBoT através UART. Esta aplicação imita o controlo remoto e permite que a posição dos botões joysticks e para ser transmitido através de Bluetooth.

A fonte firmware está disponível no momento. Por enquanto esta aplicação provavelmente não vai trabalhar para mais ninguém a não ser de engenharia reversa para um outro módulo de robô ou bluetooth.

Antecedentes: O CEENBoT foi criada por estudantes e posteriormente concedeu uma subvenção dada para ajudar a enriquecer o STEM (Ciência, Tecnologia, Engenharia e Matemática) iluminação dentro de K-12 escolas e da Universidade de Nebraska-Lincoln (Omaha Campus) Computação e Departamento de Engenharia Eletrônica (CEEN) também tem, no passado, desde que estes aos seus alunos como uma forma entrada em métodos de solda, a programação usando a API disponível ao público e para permitir que a criatividade em robótica para começar a fluir numa fase muito precoce da carreira da faculdade.
